Frankford High School student reported missing

Update (1/7/18): Alain Alcis, 18, has been located, according to police. 

Police are asking for the public’s help in locating an 18-year-old Frankford High School student with a learning disability who was reported missing on Thursday.

Classmates last saw Alain Alcis, who lives on the 1100 block of Anchor Street, in the area around Frankford Transportation Center, according to police. He left school around 3 p.m. but did not get on his school bus, authorities said.

Alcis is described as a 5-foot 3-inch-tall male weighing about 175 pounds. He has a dark complexion, brown eyes and black hair, police said. Authorities do not know what he was wearing when he was last seen.

Anyone with information about Alcis’ whereabouts is asked to contact Northeast Detectives at 215-686-3153. ••
